The project led by our faculty member Prof. Dr. Cevza Candan has been awarded support under the TÜBİTAK 1505 University–Industry Collaboration Support Program.

Within the scope of the 1505 program, an application was submitted in collaboration with ÇETİNKAYA A.Ş. as the industry partner (customer organization). The project numbered 5240038, titled “Design of an Original, Eco-Friendly, Radiation-Protective Daily Medical Garment (Scrubs) with Improved Wear and Comfort,” has been accepted.

The project, to be carried out under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Cevza Candan and planned for 21 months, will have Cumali Çetinkaya as the project representative of the customer organization. The project team also includes Prof. Dr. Banu Nergis (ITU) and Dr. Nebahat Aral (Yeditepe University).
