Our Research Assistant Dr. Handan Palak has received the ITU Doctoral Special Award for her doctoral dissertation titled “Processing of Polylactide Nanofibrous and Film Structures: Effects of Polymer Blending and Bio-Additives on Structure-Property Relationships,” supervised by Prof. Dr. Burçak Karagüzel Kayaoğlu.

This successful dissertation, which has led to high-impact scientific publications at the international level, has made significant contributions to the scientific community and has also been a great source of pride for our faculty.
