Information on Senior Design Projects

At the end of the 1st semester, the electronic copy of the SDP_thesistemplate FALL document should be prepared by the students and sent to the advisors, 1 copy on CD and 1 print-out (in case of face-to-face education) to the Student Affairs of our Faculty. In the distance education process, it must be uploaded as homework within the scope of the course to be created for the TEK 4901E course to be opened in Ninova.

In the 7th week of the 2nd semester, the report on the progress of the project should be prepared and its electronic copy should be sent to the advisor faculty members and 1 print-out (in case of face-to-face education) to the Student Affairs of our Faculty. It must be uploaded as homework within the scope of the course to be created for the TEK 4902E course to be opened in Ninova.

In the distance education process, it must be uploaded as homework within the scope of the course to be created for the TEK 4902E course to be opened in Ninova.

Jury evaluation will be applied at the end of the 2nd term.

İTÜ Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design

Textile Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) is the first and the single one offering textile engineering education in Istanbul, and also comes first among the top textile engineering schools in Turkey. Its history could be traced back to 1955; the year in which the textile division was established in the body of Mechanical Engineering. The school gained its current name and independent status in 1983. Therefore, it is obvious that the Textile Engineering Department is fairly new compared to the history of İTÜ stretching back to 240 years.
