Success of our Fashion Design Program Student Yasemin Topçu

The designs of our 3rd grade student Yasemin Topçu were selected in the "Packaging Design Project Containing Onion", which was carried out jointly with Adreno company within the scope of the Entrepreneurship course of the Fashion Design Program.

The designs of our 3rd grade student Yasemin Topçu were selected in the "Packaging Design Project Containing Slogan", which was carried out jointly with Adreno company within the scope of the Entrepreneurship course of the Fashion Design Program.

Considering the importance given to sustainability by the Adreno for Life brand, Topçu stated that she emphasized sustainable materials in the packaging she designed and that she preferred "CTRL + Z" in the slogan selection because the basic identity of the brand is based on recycling.

Adreno products will soon meet with customers in packages designed by our student.

İTÜ Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design

Textile Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) is the first and the single one offering textile engineering education in Istanbul, and also comes first among the top textile engineering schools in Turkey. Its history could be traced back to 1955; the year in which the textile division was established in the body of Mechanical Engineering. The school gained its current name and independent status in 1983. Therefore, it is obvious that the Textile Engineering Department is fairly new compared to the history of İTÜ stretching back to 240 years.
