As part of the 249th Anniversary ITU Day events, a representative graduation ceremony was held for our graduates who completed their 20th and 30th years in Textile Engineering, hosted by our faculty.
Our Alumni Day event, where we hosted the graduates of 1990, 1991, 1992, 2000, 2001, and 2002 together due to the pandemic process, took place with the participation of over 100 graduates. The event began with the opening speech of our Dean, Prof. Dr. Ömer Berk Berkalp, in A501, one of our campus's nostalgic lecture halls.Then, at the ceremony, which continued with the speech of retired faculty member Prof. Dr. Bayram Yüksel, which refreshed the memories, Bülent Alkanlı on behalf of the 30th year graduates and Gözde Akkuş on behalf of the 20th year graduates gave their speeches.
Our graduates, who received their 20th and 30th commemorative certificates from our department academics during their student years, had a pleasant time taking photos with their term friends in the foyer area. The graduates, who were excited to be together with their families and friends, ended the day in the front garden, which opened to the Bosphorus.
