As part of the 250th Anniversary ITU Day events, a representative graduation ceremony was held for our graduates who completed their 20th and 30th years in Textile Engineering, hosted by our faculty.
Representative graduation ceremonies of ITU Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design and Faculty of Machinery held on June 4, 2023 as part of the 250th anniversary events of Istanbul Technical University. ITU Day was held with the participation of our graduates, their families, academic and administrative staff.
The event commenced with the opening speeches given by our Deans Prof. Dr. İlker Murat KOÇ and Prof. Dr. Nevin Çiğdem GÜRSOY at the Orhan Öcal Giray conference hall of our campus. The event has continued with a joyous concert. Then, Kadir CESUR gave his speech on behalf of 20th year Textile Engineering graduates.
Our graduates, whose diplomas were presented by our academicians, had a pleasant time with their families and term friends in the foyer area.
Our event, ended with our emeritus Prof. Dr. Bülent Özipek's nostalgic lecture in the D331 lecture hall.
