As the ITU family, we celebrated our 2023-2024 academic year's undergraduate and graduate graduation ceremony with great enthusiasm on July 5, 2024, at the ITU Ayazağa Campus.
As the ITU family, we celebrated our 2023-2024 academic year's undergraduate and graduate graduation ceremony with great enthusiasm on July 5, 2024, at the ITU Ayazağa Campus. The ceremony, held at the ITU Stadium, was attended by over 25,000 graduates, their families, and guests, creating a vibrant atmosphere of joy.
Students graduating from the Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Textile Development and Marketing Bachelor's Programs, as well as the Textile Engineering, Innovative Technical Textiles, Ready-to-Wear Retail, and Fashion Management Master's Programs, shared the excitement of throwing their caps together.
In his speech, our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu, highlighted ITU's academic achievements over the past four years, the successes in the accreditation processes of our academic programs, and the awards won by our student project teams in international competitions. Our faculty members joined the graduates on stage to share in the celebration, and students who graduated first, second, and third in their programs were honored on stage. The students captured this special moment by taking photos with our Rector and faculty members.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt oath reading by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Şule Itır Satoğlu, followed by an exuberant cap-throwing ceremony.
As ITU, we warmly congratulate all our graduates on this meaningful graduation ceremony, held during our 251st anniversary, and wish them continued success. We reaffirm our belief that our graduates will contribute to their communities with the knowledge and experience they have gained, and we look forward to seeing them achieve the same success in their future endeavors.
