One of the valuable faculty members of our faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Atalay was granted a patent by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office with his invention called "Tekstil Tabanlı Geniş Alanlı Basınç Algılama Dizileri".

This newly developed innovative system is a textile-based wide-area pressure sensing array with a pressure sensor feature consisting of a printing plate, conductive knitted fabric, a thermoplastic polyurethane layer with dielectric properties and a double-sided fusible layer, used in smart textile, security, healthcare, entertainment, art industries and robotic applications. and it is related to the production method of these series.
